1 Injured in Officer-Involved Shooting in Fort Worth

Shots fired while Tarrant County narcotics unit was serving warrant

At least one person was injured during an officer-involved shooting involving a Tarrant County narcotics unit in Fort Worth on Friday night.

The unit was serving a warrant in the 4000 block of Tulip Tree Drive when shots were fired at about 8:45 p.m. Neighbors report hearing between five and six gunshots and officers yell "get down."

One person was shot. The condition of that person was not immediately known.

No officers were injured in the shooting.

Two people were arrested in the incident.

Fort Worth police are assisting Tarrant County deputies in the investigation of the incident.
