Fort Worth authorities said one person is dead and two others are injured after a vehicle and a tractor-trailer were involved in a wreck on Interstate 35W Monday morning.
Authorities said a vehicle lost control, bumped another vehicle and then drove into the semi's lane in the 5800 block of southbound North Freeway near eastbound Loop 820 at about 5:30 a.m.
Medstar officials said they pronounced one person dead at the scene. Two others suffered minor injuries.
The shut down I-35W from Basswood Boulevard to Loop 820 for several hours before reopening before 11 a.m.
