Police said they are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured at an Arlington home Wednesday night.
Arlington Police Department officials said officers responded to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Tabasco Trail at about 7:15 p.m. Callers reported multiple gunshots.
Before officers arrived, two people were taken by a private vehicle to First Choice Emergency Room in the 8000 block of Matlock Road. Authorities said one of the men was transported to Medical Center of Arlington where he died from his injuries.
The other victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with injuries officials said are not life threatening.
Police said investigators are talking to the victim and other witnesses to the shooting.
