Authorities said inclement weather may have caused a driver to crash into a tree near the intersection of Lincoln and Van Buren drives in Arlington. Investigators said the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree just before 1 a.m.

The driver, 22-year-old Rebecca Keel of Hurst, died before paramedics arrived, according police.

As emergency responders worked at the scene of the crash, authorities said a white pickup truck crashed into an Arlington Fire-Rescue ambulance that responded to the call.

Two people inside the truck ran to a nearby apartment complex after the second crash.

Police said they caught the passenger and arrested him for public intoxication. Officers are still searching for the driver.

Two Arlington paramedics suffered minor injuries in the crash, but were not hospitalized.
