Marriage Ref Blows Whistle on North Texas Couple

Lazaundra and Antwon Burris have only been married for 15 years, but they already bicker like a couple married for 50 years.

He likes watching football on weekends. She likes making him do errands.

The couple jokes about their playful sparring, but the one thing they can't agree on is her coupon-cutting habits.

"She pulls out all this stuff, and to me it's just junk, a lot of junk," Antwon Burris said.

But Lazaundra Burris sees it differently.

"It's money. It's like people giving you money," she said.

On Thursday, the Cedar Hill couple will air their differences on NBC's "The Marriage Ref."

"I really wasn't expecting them to call," Lazaundra Burris said. "But they did. And once they called, I really wasn't expecting them to choose us but they did, so here we are."

The couple said they can't say who the refs favored in the debate, but the panel included Donald Trump, Gloria Estefan and Adam Corolla.

The show airs Thursday at 9 p.m.
