Tarrant County Public Health said Tuesday they are distributing 1,000 additional doses of flu vaccine throughout the department's six public health centers.
The vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months and older. The cost of flu shots at public health centers is $20.
TCPH also received additional vaccine for uninsured children and children who qualify for Medicaid.

Additionally, in Dallas County, an estimated 600 doses of flu vaccine are available to anyone for free. You do not need to be a Dallas County resident to get the free vaccine. More details are here.
