Insurance companies are taking a second look at the device that helped a North Texas woman hear for the first time a few months ago.
The new device -- the Envoy Esteem -- which helped Sarah Churman hear wasn't originally covered by insurance.
Sarah's mother-in-law scraped together $30,000 to pay for hers.
Insurance companies are now taking another look.
Envoy tells NBC 5 that Blue Cross Blue Shield now covers it in four states, including Texas.
The company also says Dallas-based AT&T offers coverage for its employees through United Healthcare.
Sarah's emotional moment, when technicians turned her device on for the first time, has been watched more than 9 million times on Youtube.
