The Dallas County Health Department is reopening an east side health clinic formerly run by the city.
The Children's Clinic at 3312 North Buckner Boulevard will offer immunizations and health checks beginning next week. The previous clinic closed last fall after a reduction in funding for city services.
Immunizations are $10 per child on the first visit, $5 on subsequent visits. Exams are $5 per child. Exams and immunizations are free with valid Medicaid cards, the Dallas Business Journal reports.
The clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Jan. 11.
No appointment is necessary for shots, but the county is requesting appointments for health check-ups.
