NBC 5 has learned at least three El Centro students have tested positive for tuberculosis after being given tests last week.
The students, and 49 others, were given skin tests at El Centro College after a student tested positive for TB.
All of the students tested attended classes with the infected person.
Of the 52 tests given, 36 required a follow-up reading. Three of those have tested positive and the students will now be required to have a chest x-ray.
The remaining students will receive their results this week.
