Collin County announced Tuesday, May 5, 24 new COVID-19 cases in the county.
The new announcement brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the county to 828 but 549 people have recovered, leaving 257 current cases active.
There have been 22 confirmed deaths associated with COVID-19 in Collin County.
