People in the market to buy a condo downtown will want to jump on this deal.
The Metropolitan in between Main and Commerce Street is holding an auction of almost three dozen unsold, upscale units.
The condos, previously listed at between $150,000 and $330,000 have 15 different floor plans and layouts.
Condo fees run 39 cents per square foot per month at The Metropolitan, which was built in the '70s as an office tower.
Opening bids at The Metropolitan start at $39,000 on July 17th.
A caution: the weekend noise bouncing around off of the nightclub and bar scene on Main Street is something to consider.
