Tax Day is Monday, April 18, and business across the Dallas Fort Worth area are trying to make this time of year less taxing. On Tax Day, many businesses are giving away great freebies! Here are some of the favorites of the NBC5 Responds Team.
*Office Depot Office Max: After finishing your taxes, take time for spring cleaning. Shred that old box of old bills and paperwork. Office Depot Office Max will let you shred five pounds for free. You have to have a coupon (CLICK HERE). And remember don't shred your tax return or supporting documents for three years.
*Schlotzsky's: On Monday, all locations will give you a free small original sandwich if you buy chips and a drink.
*Hard Rock Café: Sing for your supper at Hard Rock Cafe. Restaurant workers told NBC5 it will be a blast!. Show off your best Beyonce or George Strait at on stage and get a free burger.
*Great American Cookies: Drop by Great American Cookies and get a free chocolate chip cookie.
*Kona Ice: It’s giving away free Hawaiian Ice on Tax Day. There are about 15 locations across DFW.
*World of Beer: Drown your Tax Day sorrows at World of Beer. They're taking five bucks off the tab of taxed, tired Texans. That’s about the equivalent of a beer on the house.
