Despite the sour economy, shopping and dining continue to prosper in the Arlington Highlands.
According to the development's Web site, the Highlands will soon welcome four additional restaurants -- including popular Austin-based Chuy's, Kansas City-based Houlihan's, Florida-based The Melting Pot and even a speciality chocolate shop.
Chuy's and their "big as yo' face" burritos will take up residence this fall in the same building as Blackfinn saloon, which opened earlier this month. Houlihan's will be a free-standing building located just west of Bone Daddy's and is set to open April 20.
The Melting Pot will open April 15. Sometime this spring chocolate lovers can head over to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory -- exact opening date TBD.
So far this year, Blackfinn American Saloon, Splitsville, Dave & Busters and several other restaurants have opened to great success.
