An Energizer Bunny has sold at auction for almost $18,000.
Dallas-based Heritage Auction Galleries says that the bunny, one of the four original Energizer Bunnies, sold at auction Saturday in Beverly Hills, Calif., for $17,925, including the buyer's premium.
The buyer wanted to remain anonymous.
The auction house says the pink bunny with sunglasses that beat a drum in the commercials was one of the two in most of the television commercials for the batteries. The bunny is 25 inches from its feet to ears.
