Emergency responders are at the scene of a crash involving a Crandall police car and another vehicle in Kaufman County.
The crash took place along eastbound U.S. Highway 175 at Farm-to-Market Road 1389 in Seagoville.
While the circumstances of the crash are not known, the police car was apparently struck from behind by a pickup truck. Both cars ended up off of the roadway and in a field, the truck some distance from the police car.
Four people were transported to Baylor Medical center in Dallas by ground ambulance. Their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
