Firefighters in Flower Mound responded to a grass fire near the 6400 block of Sunset Trail Monday.
Officials initially said the fire posed a threat to a nearby home.
The home is north of Grapevine Lake, south of the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 1171 and Shiloh Road, in a neighborhood of homes with large, grassy lots among undeveloped acreage.
Firefighters arrived and put out the fire before it damaged any nearby structures.
