Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell Meet Troops for Tug-Of-War

Movie stars coach tug-of-war contest in Fort Worth

Movie stars Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell were in Fort Worth Wednesday providing a different kind of entertainment for military personnel.

Ferrell and Galifianakis stopped at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth on their whistle-stop tour to promote their movie "The Campaign." The film is about rival politicians who both want to be president.
The two comedians got laughs by making fun of Texas heat. "I like it. I like it a lot. I'm a big fan of it. I find it calming. Soothing. It’s a soothing heat," said Ferrell.
As for their movie they may have gotten inspiration from the Republican debates and Gov. Rick Perry's "oops" moment.
"One of the funnier ones was definitely provided by Governor Perry. When he forgot which cabinet positions he would eliminate. That was a good one," said Ferrell.
The duo also coached and cheered on the troops in a morale-boosting game of tug-of-war. We're pretty sure Galifianakis' team won, but Ferrell acted like his team really won.
The event is closed to the public.  The Campaign opens in theaters nationwide on Aug. 10.
