Willie Nelson Jams for Richard Branson

Fresh from his arrest last Friday for pulling into a routine checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas with six ounces of weed, 77-year old Willie Nelson held a not-so-secret show at the Winspear Opera House last night for Virgin America's Lone Star Launch party. According to Tweeters, the ten time Grammy award-winning performer sang Always on my mind.

Sir Richard Branson and his big plane were also welcomed with water cannons and an outdoor barbecue. Virgin America hopes to compete with American Airlines with its interior purple mood lighting, leather seats and personal entertainment centers for TV, music videos and games. Apparently, the planes also have enough overhead cabin space to fit a cowgirl (though we're guessing there won't be any secret spaces for Willie's private stash).
