What You're Doing This Halloween

ROCK THE CARNIVALE: Celebrate Halloween with the band also known as a burrito, Oso Closo, as they help 88.7 KTCU's The Good Show throw a bash complete with costume contest, creepy film screening (1932's Freaks) and chance to remedy something as truly scary as hunger with the Fort Worth Burrito Project. The serendipitously burrito-flavored magic, deemed Nightmare on 6th Street, all goes down at Lola's Sixth. Movie starts at 7PM.

PUP IN TOW: The Unleashed Indoor Dog Park on Samuell Blvd. plays host to your little ones, be them canine or human, with the Halloween Unleashed Festival. A haunted house, petting zoo, and pumpkin carving contest should make for traditional parading of the precious; the doggies are even included at the face painting booth, with fur painting offered as well. 2PM-8PM.

SURPRISE ENDING: It doesn't have to be Old Hallows Eve for Austin's Ghostland Observatory to put on a ghoulishly fabulous show, but the coincidence of their Palladium date is the ticket if you're up for a little goth-punk fun. The duo's specialty is electro-pop, but expect some diversions on this night of nights. 9PM.
