What You Missed This Weekend

We understand -- you're feeling slow, lethargic, a little bit behind. Sure, it could be the time change, but it's more than likely the hangover you're facing from a weekend of unbridled awesome. Take the tour with us.

Nice weather and nice people made for a nice -- though not as drunk as usual -- St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday.  Our contacts at the concert afterward said it was one of the best Toadies shows in years, too.

Talk about your surprise shows -- Lady Gaga (Yes, THAT Lady Gaga) showed up at the Round-up Saloon on Sunday night to perform "Born This Way" around 1:30 a.m. All reports are that's it's definitely her, since she's in town tonight for a show with the Scissor Sisters at AAC. Watch:

Tons of our compatriots made the trek up I-35 for the aptly named 35 Conferette. But if you were following Twitter all weekend, it made the "little conference" look like a really big deal -- cause it was.

Michael Cera sightings (both with his band and out around Denton) made Friday night a giant game of "hipster or Michael Cera?"

Plus, Sunday night's Big Boi show became a new kind of audience interaction -- someone threw a bag of weed onstage, causing a quick shutdown as the crews looked for the loot.

What You Missed From Us

Blame the time change for forgetting (again) to set your DVR and catching this past weekend's Foodies DFW, which showed you how to make such delicious local recipes as NYLO's marinated lamb in port wine sauce or Horne and Dekker's Double Dekker.

But you should have been totally adjusted -- and maybe even at home for -- this weekend's Scene DFW show focusing on local music and music venues like La Grange, The Kessler, and Lola's Saloon.

Set your clocks correctly and your DVRs to catch the next new Foodies DFW this Sunday at 12:30 a.m. and the new Scene DFW at 12:00 a.m. next Monday. You'll be glad you did.
