The Coppell Chamber of Commerce provides local businesses with a prime opportunity to become involved in the community where their businesses are located. Involvement in the Coppell Chamber of Commerce enables business owners to protect and promote their business interests while giving back to the community and its residents.
The Chamber of Commerce operates through its several chamber committees. The committees enable business professionals to address issues that are important to them, their business and their community.
Chamber of Commerce Committees
The Ambassadors Committee welcomes and supports new Chamber of Commerce members and attends ribbon-cutting ceremonies, open houses and Chamber mixers. Their purpose is to “develop, promote and conduct programs that serve, strengthen and support all Chamber members.”
The Leads Group provides a platform through which Chamber members can network with each other. Their purpose is to “encourage network and business growth among Chamber members by referral and participation.”
The Governmental Relations Committee’s purpose is to “monitor and recommend positions to the Board of Directors on governmental issues affecting local businesses.”
The Education Committee works with businesses and education programs within the community. Its purpose is to “develop, promote and conduct programs focusing on improving relations between the business and education communities.”
The Small Business Advocate Committee coordinates and develops programs aimed at helping the small businesses in Coppell. Its purpose is to “develop, promote and conduct programs focusing on the special needs of the business community.”
The Greenstorming Group Committee focuses on being involved in environmentally responsible activities which educate and benefit the community. Its purpose is to “develop, promote and conduct programs that motivate the community to examine and transform personal habits by accepting responsibility for our Earth and our environment.”
The Special Events Committees are formed, as needed, to organize the Chamber’s special events throughout the year. They include the Coppell Community Gala, the Coppell Chamber Golf Classic and the Chamber of Commerce Membership Event.
The Coppell Chamber of Commerce helps local businesses and enables them to obtain new business contacts, to receive referrals from Chamber members and their publications and to obtain publicity and exposure.
