Last night, Top Chef fans gathered at Plano restaurant Loft 610 to cheer on their favorite alum, Tre Wilcox, as he took on 17 other chefs in the All-Star season premiere. Potent cocktails, tasty hors d'oeuvres, live music (after the show, of course) and six flat screen TVs provided the perfect setting for Top Chef viewing. The bar area was packed with a rowdy crowd trying to catch a glimpse of Wilcox—each time he appeared on screen, everyone cheered in excitement. Wilcox spent most of his time in the kitchen, although he took a break to mix and mingle with fans. (People pried him with questions of who wins, but Wilcox wouldn't budge.) For anyone who did not watch the show last night, good news: All three DFW cheftestants made it through to the next round. [The Feast]
