July 16 is the opening day for making reservations at restaurants participating in the KRLD Restaurant Week.
The week actually begins in August, with "preview" days on Aug. 10-12, the main event running from Aug. 13-19, and "extensions" from Aug. 20 to September 2, 2012.
Over 125 restaurants are signed up for the annual event, which is celebrating it's 15th year in 2012. Each of those locations is offering a three-course dinner for $35 per person, with each meal sold bringing a $7 donation to the North Texas Food Bank or Lean Pope Home charities.
Reservations are required the event and go very quickly for popular spots.
