Tickets Remain Available to NCAA Basketball Tournament in Dallas

Preliminary rounds will be held on March 15 and 17

March Madness will take over North Texas in a couple of months.

The first and second rounds of the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place at the American Airlines Center on March 15 and 17. Tickets for the preliminary rounds are also available for purchase at www.NCAA.com/mbbtickets.

"Tickets typically get sold quickly once the tournament field is announced, so we encourage fans who want to experience March Madness to purchase their tickets as soon as possible," Dan Gavitt, NCAA vice president of men's basketball championships, said in a statement. "If the first three months of the season are any indication, this year's version of March Madness is going to be an incredible event with thrilling games fans won't want to miss."

There’s also a good chance to see a Big 12 team, possibly even Oklahoma and freshman sensation Trae Young, take the court in Dallas once March rolls around. Two teams in North Texas, TCU and SMU, are riding the tournament bubble going into this week. Texas A&M is also a bubble team but could get a spot in the tournament with a good run.

However, things can and will change between now and then so who will be making the trip to Dallas is still a mystery. That’s the magic of March Madness.

Tickets are available for other selected sites:

March 13 and 14 – Dayton, OH

March 15 and 17 – Pittsburgh, PA

March 16 and 18 – Charlotte, NC
