This Birdie is Not in the Hole

At the Pecan Hollow Golf Course in Plano, the real competition is man versus nature.

On any given day you'll see birds, squirrels and even a coyote or two.

The golf course is actually greenspace and the city of Plano is hoping to merge the two.

Pecan Hollow is on it's way to becoming certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctury.

The course has already cut down on the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and is using more natural vegetation to reduce water consumption.

Golfers are also being educated on how to be environmentally friendly and help in the courses effort to be environmentally friendly.
