After Hours Block Party in the Arts District

Experience the Dallas Arts District in a totally different way during the annual after hours Summer Block pARTy.

The Crow Collection of Asian Art, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center have joined together to form a collaboration of their after sunset events on Friday, June 17.

It’s a big occasion. So big, in fact, they'll close down Flora Street for it.

A wide selection of art, dining, and activities will be taking place on the street including outdoor performances by Calhoun and Luna Matto.

Each museum will host a variety of activities indoors throughout the night.

  • Crow Collection After Dark will feature a Japanese drumming performance, Chinese bedtime stories, and bubble tea samples.
  • Late Nights at the DMA has happy hour and tapas, screening of "Thumbsucker," kids’, and Late Night Summer Concert featuring The Polyphonic Spree.
  •  ‘Til Midnight at the Nasher will feature dance lessons, a live concert with Milo Deering Bluegrass Band, and a big screen movie viewing of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

Of course, each museum will have plenty more activities going on, as well as events for the kids, so head downtown Friday between 6 p.m. and midnight to see what the arts district has to offer.
