Shakespeare Dallas Partners with Food Trucks for Friday Performance

Three food trucks to serve at Shakespeare Dallas July 6 performance.

Shakespeare Dallas is partnering with three noted Dallas food trucks for the July 6 performance of “Coriolanus” at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater venue.

Leave the picnic basket behind, but don’t forget your appetite because Tin Star Taco Taxi, Cup Cakin, and Crazy Fish will be serving all of your culinary cravings.

Menus are available online for each of the food trucks. Tin Star Taco Taxi offers Southwestern gourmet tacos, Crazy Fish brings you gourmet sushi without the price tag and Cup Cakin supplies all of those treats to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Also in attendance is Calais Winery, who is a vendor on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at all Shakespeare Dallas performances at the Samuell-Grand location. They offer tastings, wine by the glass and by the bottle.

There are no food trucks scheduled for other upcoming performances -- yet. Shakespeare Dallas is hoping to add more to the overall experience for patrons.

"We want to enhance the audience's experience at the park and give them options to choose from when it comes to having the 'picnic experience' at the park," said Catherine Shuler, spokesperson for Shakespeare Dallas.

Tonight's performance begins at 8:15 p.m., but gates open for general admission ticket holders at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors and students and free for children under 12.
