Sfuzzi's Rat Pack Wednesdays

Italian eatery Sfuzzi has been adding a dose of razzle dazzle to the McKinney Avenue strip with Rat Pack Wednesdays, a weekly party that features the swinging live music of Ricki Derek and the Dynamic Duo, a Sinatra-studded cocktail menu (two fingers of Jack Daniels with four ice cubes was the crooner's fav) and dishes like the Clams Posillipo and Veal Sinatra.

“People don’t want the same old thing,” said Jonathan Rosenberg, one of Sfuzzi's investors. “You have to keep it fresh.”

Fresh indeed. The regular drink menu just received an update last month, but still includes swill-worthy choices like the tequila-based J Rose, and the Rutt Crush, made with a mix of blood orange and elderflower liqueurs, prosecco and bitters, and garnished with fresh strawberries and cucumber.

"Sfuzzi is just a place you can go and lounge, enjoy good music and nice drinks with friends" said Rutt Crush inspiration and another Sfuzzi investor Brian Rutt.

We'll certainly drink to that, and you should too. Rat Pack Wednesdays kicks off at 8:30 p.m., with late night brick oven pizza pies served until 3 a.m.
