In the wake of last week’s breaking yogurt news, we’ve got another sweet treat stop for ya today.  Red Mango opened Tuesday in the Ilume complex on Cedar Springs in Dallas.  Featuring the chain’s tangy lineup of fro yo flavors, fresh toppings and sip-able “blenders”, the store opens at 11 a.m. seven days a week.

Speaking of the Ilume, Chef Doug Brown of Beyond the Box is pleased as punch to be bringing his “inspired meal solutions” to the complex, beginning December 1st.  “The store has everything,” he says of the second outpost of ‘BTB’.  In addition to hot soups, sandwiches and salads, a variety of convenience items and prepared foods will be available for the taking.  Also a trusted name in event catering, Beyond the Box is known for featuring top-notch ingredients in its gourmet meals.  Can’t wait to see what’s cookin’!

Hold on to your hats, kids, ‘cause Tillman’s is coming to Cowtown.  A new branch of the Bishop Arts fave opens to the public on December 2nd in Fort Worth’s West 7th Development.  Home of a truly Texan mix of refined and rustic dishes, Tillman’s is sure to be a hit with our neighbors to the west.  Stop on by a week from Wednesday and see what Chef Dan Landsberg is whipping up in the new digs.
