Alberto Lombardi will return to his Italian roots when he opens La Fiorentina in the former home of Chip’s Burgers on Cole Avenue in the Knox Henderson neighborhood.
The Tuscan-style steakhouse will seat less than fifty guests inside and thirty diners outside on the covered patio.
Hot bread served with chopped tomatoes and Italian olive oil for dipping will come out of the kitchen gratis and two soups are included in the price of entrée.

La Fiorentina opens at the end of June and will only serve beer and wine. Buon appetito!
