Remembering the JFK Assassination

Forty-seven years later, conspiracy theories still surround the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Dallasites met at the Grassy Knoll yesterday to pay their respects and to share stories of “where they were when.” More than a few in attendance were there the day the former president was shot, and were able to recall the details of the gruesome shooting.

“I was in complete shock for a little bit and then I was angry because I knew our president was dead when he was shot in the head," one eyewitnness tells the Dallas Morning News. "You can’t survive a shot from a rifle like that.”
