Rain Moves From Texas — for Now

A storm that brought two days of rain to Texas is moving out, followed by an influx of dry air.

Across the Dallas-Fort Worth area there were scattered reports of street and road flooding but no severe damage or injuries.

NBC 5 Chief Meteorologist David Finfrock said over the two days we saw some 4 inch totals around Grapevine and Southlake. But most of the area received between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of welcome rain.

Finfrock said Friday will be sunny and warmer, but the dry spell will be short-lived, a front is expected to bring showers and colder weather as it approaches from the north on Saturday.
