Paul joined the NBC 5 Sports team in April 2018 after a successful 16-year run at WZTV in Nashville, Tennessee. He served as the station’s Sports Director for 14 of his 16 years at the station.
The Maryland native is excited to now call North Texas home and he’s looking forward covering all the sports teams in our area, especially his favorite team when he was a kid, the Dallas Cowboys.
Paul, who has also worked at WISH-TV in Indianapolis, KCBD-TV in Lubbock and WUSA in Washington D.C., is a 5-time Emmy Award recipient, including wins for Best Sportscast in the Mid-South three times. He also won five Tennessee Associated Press Awards for "Best TV Sportscaster.”
