Suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was back at work Monday with the Dallas Cowboys.
Jones went to meetings and practice even though he can't suit up until December 7 against Pittsburgh.
Jones spent much of the past few weeks away in an alcohol rehabilitation program.
Jones can do everything but play in the next game -- Thursday against Seattle -- as he works his way back from his latest suspension. It's a six-game penalty for violating the league's player conduct policy.
Jones previously was suspended for the 2007 season.
Dallas coach Wade Phillips says it's reasonable to believe another slip-up would get Jones permanently banned from the NFL.
Jones will no longer get a team-hired bodyguard.
The personal protector is the guy Jones wound up scuffling with during a party at a Dallas hotel on Oct. 7.
He was suspended by the NFL about one week later.
