Not interested in fighting off other shoppers at the big box stores and waiting in endless lines on what should be a relaxing, post-Thanksgiving weekend? Yeah, doesn't sound so good to us either. That's why we've put together a list of the most delightful and decidedly different Black Friday shopping ideas we could find; we hope you enjoy our guide to alternative activities for a perfect Anti-Black Friday.

Highland Park Village, corner of Mockingbird and Preston. Expanding from their design district location, Samuel Lynne Galleries opens their pop-up store on Friday; only open temporarily in honor of the holidays, the contemporary art haven will be a welcome if short-lived addition to the current collection of shops. The gallery hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., with extended hours offered Dec. 13-26. Also on Friday, the Village hosts their annual Toy Drive from 2 to 6 p.m.; they'll have awesome kid-friendly activities like visits with Santa, face painting, and carolers to get shoppers into the holiday spirit.

The Shops Of Highland Park, 4266 Oak Lawn Avenue. Trousseau, the sexiest lingerie shop in town, will reopen in it's new location this weekend; fans of the store will remember them from their original location in the West Village. They're offering a fun, free gift with purchase all weekend.

West Village, 3699 McKinney Avenue. Cowboy Cool will offer 20 percent off merchandise that's not already on sale, and Accents is selling accessories at Buy 3 Get 2 Free from 10 a.m. until noon. They'll also serve you a holiday cocktail while you shop.

IndieGenius, 409 North Zang in Dallas' Oak Cliff area. The new shop and showroom space for local designers is hosting an actual Anti-Black Friday party, kicking off at 2 p.m. the day after Thanksgiving. It'll be a great party; expect wine and beer and great, well-priced shopping.

Northpark, 8687 North Central Expressway. Swarovski is offering you 50 percent off of select merchandise and ornaments, including their Circle Set in jet. There's also a cool gift giveaway with every purchase. Gucci is pre-selling their Fall/Winter collections at 30 to 40 percent off. And Armani Exchange will take $50 off of every purchase over $150. Neiman Marcus will host a gorgeous jewelry trunk show by Crown Colors on Friday and Saturday; additionally, Matt Litavsky - designer of MattArusky ornaments - will be in store to make a personal appearance from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday only. And if you need stocking stuffers for your favorite guy, don't miss the Jack Black event on Saturday from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. Lastly, Neiman Marcus stores everywhere are offering you a $50 gift card with purchases of $100 or more between 9 a.m and 2 p.m. on Black Friday.

Stanley Korshak, 500 Crescent Court. Shop major designers like Valentino and Carolina Herrera, and take 25 percent off any single item in store when you make a $50 donation to Food 4 Kids.

Galleria, 13350 Dallas Parkway. Kick off the holiday season with a lap around their ice rink and hit luxury shirtmaker Thomas Pink for their 20 percent sale on selected merchandise.

Archive Vintage, 2912 Maple Avenue. Save 10 percent on your entire purchase when you bring in a canned good. Their current selection of vintage Chanel is worth the trip.

Vintage Martini, 1106 West Main Street in Carrollton, Texas. The eponymous owner, Ken Weber, will host a trunk show on Saturday for uber-famous jewelry designer, Sherri Jennings; celebs are obsessed with her work, and chances are, you will be too. He'll be serving wine and making it festive in store all day long.

Panacea, 945 Garden Park Drive in Allen, Texas. The great accessories venue will give you 50 percent off all items from 9 a.m until 2 p.m. and 30 percent off for the remainder of the weekend.

Nailicious, 3410 Oaklawn Avenue. Our favorite nail salon and mini-boutique is selling all accessories at 30 percent off this weekend only. This takes their already fabulous and trendy items to a new high, or should I say low?

Dean Kingston, 821 Foch Street in Fort Worth, Texas. They're having a progressive sale throughout Friday. From 10 a.m. to noon you'll receive 50 percent off, noon to 1 p.m. it's 40 percent, 1 to 2 p.m. is 30 percent, 2 to 3 p.m. is 20 percent, and 3 to 4 p.m. the discount drops to 10 percent. Obviously, shop early for a great discount at one of Fort Worth's coolest boutiques.
