ROMEO & JULIET: The Dallas Museum of Art is presenting special panel discussions as part of their Opera Insights events. Panelists will include singers and staff members of various upcoming Dallas Opera shows. The topic for this Sunday’s event will be the tragic yet romantic love story of Romeo & Juliet. Free with general admission. 3 p.m.

EXPERIMENTAL ART WORKSHOP: The Oak Cliff Cultural Center is hosting an art mixer and gallery show this Friday. This fundraising event is for the Creative Contraption, a community-oriented non-profit organization. Complimentary wine and snacks will be provided, and entertainment includes a few circus freaks and Tav the DJ. Free, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

CURATOR CHAT: Charles Renfro, NYC architect and principal for Diller Scofidio + Renfro, will be the guest speaker at the 360: Artists, Curators & Critics series this Saturday at the Nasher Sculpture Center. Complimentary wine will be available to those who make reservations via emailing 360RSVP@nashersculpturecenter.org. $10, 1 p.m.
