Omni Dallas Hotel Brings Glitz to North Texas

Hotel offers 'Definitely Dallas' package to celebrate grand opening

When you see the sparkling lights of the new hotel sitting in the shadows of Reunion Tower, it may appear as if the Wynn Las Vegas hotel was magically relocated to downtown Dallas. In reality, all the glitz is the brand new Omni Dallas Hotel that has been generating buzz all over Dallas-Fort Worth.

But why would someone who lives in North Texas care about visiting a hotel -- a Convention Center hotel at that -- that is mere miles from their residences?

Let's take a look.

Upon entering the 1,001 room 23-story building, it is evident that there is so much more than just a place to spend a night in Dallas.
We spent over an hour just touring the cosmopolitan steel and glass tower that is complete with artwork from 150 local artists and 39 meeting rooms named after iconic Dallas spots such as Katy Trail, Fair Park and Greenville.

The hotel's on-site dining options include the legendary Bob’s Steak & Chop House, The Owners Box sports bar featuring a 16-foot screen TV and a farm-to-market featuring local products restaurant, Texas Spice, for a casual dining experience.

The Uptown Terrace, the outdoor pool lounge on the fourth floor with panoramic views of the Dallas skyline, is primed to be one of the coolest hangouts for DFW's beautiful people.

In addition to its sleek texture that captures the essence of Big D for those who are looking for a cool place to relax and hang out, the new Omni Dallas Hotel is the inaugural part of an area slated for more dining and retail that should lead to this urban corridor becoming a vibrant entertainment locale for DFW residents and visitors alike.

Should you decide that the new hotel is so cool that you simply don't want to leave, there is a 'Definitely Dallas' package (in honor of the grand opening on 11-11-11) with rooms from $111 per night available through December 30.
