North Texas Viewers Can Now Watch NBC 5's Full Lineup of Live Programming Across Platforms

Starting today, viewers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area can now watch NBC 5’s / KXAS-TV’s full lineup of live programming across multiple platforms, including on a computer, tablet or smartphone, both in and out of their home.

With today’s launch, NBC local, news, sports*, syndicated, primetime and late night programming is available 24x7 to consumers with a cable, satellite or telco subscription.

“Whether you’re sitting at home watching The Blacklist on your iPad, tuning into NBC 5’s latest weather forecast at the soccer field or taking your lunch break in front of your computer watching Days of Our Lives, we know our NBC 5 audience will appreciate having the full lineup of NBC programming available to them as they go about their busy lives,” said Tom Ehlmann, president and general manager, NBC 5. “We are committed to making it easy and convenient for viewers to watch news and entertainment programming.  We believe ‘Texas Connects Us’ and this technology enables us to connect with more viewers in more places than ever.”

To access the full live stream of NBC 5, viewers can visit the station’s website at, or download the NBC 5 app from the iTunes store or Google Play. From there, they will select the “Watch Live TV Now” tab and follow the prompts.

They will be required to sign in with their cable, satellite or telco provider credentials to watch their shows.

In addition to the live programming, viewers will also be able to choose from a library of video-on-demand content to watch whenever they want.

In addition to NBC 5, the live NBC programming will be available across the NBC Owned Stations in their respective markets, including WNBC in New York, KNBC in Los Angeles, WMAQ in Chicago, WCAU in Philadelphia, KNTV in the San Francisco Bay Area, WRC in Washington, D.C., WTVJ in Miami-Fort Lauderdale, KNSD in San Diego and WVIT in Connecticut.
