Man Protests Judge's Decision to Put Dog Down

Anthony Kallas contends a McKinney municipal court judge made an unlawful and mean-spirited decision to order the death of his best friend -- his dog.

Kallas, 24, of McKinney, conducted his own small protest at McKinney Municipal Court Tuesday to forward his claim municipal court judge Roger V. Dickey unlawfully sentenced his 8-year-old weimaraner mix, Rocky, to die without allowing Kallas 30 days to comply with state’s dangerous dog guidelines.

Kallas also contends the city unfairly won't accept appeals for civil matters.
