June 23-27: "Rock This Town" -- LaGrange Dallas presents a five day musical event benefiting love, hope, strength and the children's medical center featuring Fastball, Backporch Mary, Le Cure, Boys Named Sue, Grant Jones & The Pistol Grip Lassos. The festival begins June 23 at 7 p.m. and ends June 27. Events take place at LaGrange (2704 Elm Street Dallas, 75226) and The Belmont Hotel in Oak Cliff (901 Fort Worth Avenue, Dallas, 75208). June 26: The Dallas Zoo - GIRAFFES, MONKEYS & LEPPERTS Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert hosts an evening the whole family can enjoy with music, face painting, carousel rides and more to benefit Education is Freedom (EIF). June 26 & 27: 9th Annual Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Weekend Two teams made up of 10 celebrity players and 10 amateurs will be hitting home runs all weekend playing baseball that benefits The Mike Modano Foundation and the Little Heroes Foundation.
