It's Too Hot for Mr. Freeze

As the temperatures stay in the way-too-hot-why-do-we-still-live-here range, demand for energy has shot up faster than Mr. Freeze's powered launch.

In order to conserve some of that much needed energy, Six Flags Over Texas is shutting down the Mr. Freeze coaster from 3 to 7 p.m. every day at the park.

Sharon Parker with Six Flags said the voluntary shutdown would only effect Freeze as it's one of the highest energy consuming rides.

When temperatures cool and the energy needs drop, Arlington should Freeze over again.
