It's the middle of September, but Oktoberfest will be in full swing in Addison this weekend.
From Sep. 15-18, experience what organizers claim is one of the most authentic Oktoberfest celebrations outside of Munich -- and what we say is a really fun time.
More than 60,000 are expected to gather in Addison Circle Park for four days of music, dancing, and, of course, beer.
The festival is free for early birds that show up during Thursday's kick-off from 6 to 11 p.m., but admission will rise to up to $10 for the later dates. Discounted admission can be snagged at DFW area Albertons, or by getting in before 5 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday.
Highlights of the event for us are definitely Thursday night's official tapping of the keg at 8 p.m., and shows by Grammy-winning Brave Combo on Friday and Saturday.
