Scott MacIntyre thinks Ryan Seacrest should stop being so dramatic on "American Idol."
MacIntyre says the point where Seacrest stopped before reading whether MacIntyre or Anoop Desai was eliminated was one of his "most agonizing pauses." He says Seacrest "is getting a little too good at that."
MacIntyre is proud the judges were split on whether to use their save power to keep him from elimination, rather than being unanimous that he should go.
He says "That was something very nice for me to walk away with."
MacIntyre is ready to capitalize on his 15 minutes of "American Idol" fame.
He says the first thing he's going to do when he returns to Arizona next week is take a look at all the original material he's written and put together the best album he can. And his collection is quite extensive.
MacIntyre says he wrote one song per week while he was pursing his master's degree in London.

I can't say I was sad to see him go, I just wasn't a fan of his voice, I feel like I wanted him to clear his throat all the time.
Next week, the "Idol" contestants sing movie songs with guest mentor Quentin Tarantino.
