While retailers are rolling out Black Friday deals, secondhand stores are filling up with people who know they can get a deal even before one of the year's biggest shopping days.
Places such as the Salvation Army Thrift Store, where you can find everything from furniture to football helmets, and Buffalo Exchange are busy.
"We have scarves, clothing, stuff like that, knickknacks," manager Tanya Valentin said. "I mean, just about practically anything."
"It's fun to come to places like this and find little things that you wouldn't find anywhere else, like, for this cheap," shopper Amy Vaughan said.
Shoppers are also finding everything at a deep discount.
Antonia Hernandez said she goes to the Salvation Army Thrift Store because she finds items at good prices.
There's also a good selection.
"Every year, we get Neiman Marcus merchandise," Valentin said.
Shoppers looking for the biggest bang for their buck are already packing Buffalo Exchange.
"The designer label can kind of sticker-shock people at Christmas, so they can come here and pay $25 or $15 for things they can get full price somewhere else," shopper Natalie Donaldson said.
"Black Friday is going to be big for us," manager Stevie Poulas said.
