WHAT-A-DEAL: In celebration of Whataburger's 60th anniversary, every dine-in customer decked out in orange will snag a free Whataburger (just the sandwich) from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight.
"Whataburger has been blessed with 60 years of success thanks to the loyalty of our customers, the hard work of our employees and the commitment of our Franchisees," Whataburger Chairman and CEO Tom Dobson said in a press release. "In 1950, when our Dad opened the first Whataburger in Corpus Christi, he served over 400 customers that first day. Here we are, sixty years later, and on any given day, we serve over 460,000 customers. We are thankful for the success our family-owned company has achieved and eager to continue serving our customers for many more years."
CHEAP CABANA: All Dallas-area Taco Cabana locations are promoting the restaurant's happy hour by giving away free chicken fajita tacos tonight from 4 to 9 p.m.
Just a few weeks ago, the Cabana wheeled in a taco truck to Fort Worth Sundance Square for a free taco promotion -- but tonight's deal should be far more accessible.
