Do you and your family take time to truly reflect on all there is to be thankful for on this day?
I always try to take the time on Thanksgiving to remember that I take so much for granted and actually forget how blessed I am most of the time. Most of the world doesn't own a car, they don't have a pantry stocked with food, they don't have such an overflowing abundance of anything. Here I am....stocked until 2011 while so many won't eat today.
Isn't today a terrific day to share our abundance with others? To take stock of what we have to offer and spread the wealth?
Today I am very thankful for so many areas - my faith, my family, my health, my job, my home....I could go on & on.
As you might suspect, I am so thankful to have stumbled across the art of couponing as well - it has been a huge difference in my family's ability to stock & save. It has enabled me to give to others who may not have as much. That is an amazing feeling. The gift of genorosity - to he who much is given, much is expected.
