Frisco's Free Summer Movie Lineup Revealed

Frisco Square announced its annual free summer movies series, "Movies in the Square", will return for the fourth year on most Fridays during June and July.

“2010 is our fourth year hosting the Movies in the Square,” said Cathy Sweeney, a Frisco Square managing partner, in a news release. “We’re very excited about this year’s lineup, especially the opportunity to present the sing-along version of 'Grease,' the biggest-selling movie musical of all time.”

Here is the 2010 schedule for Movies in the Square:

June 4: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs at 9 p.m.

June 11: Surf’s Up at 9 p.m.

June 18: SpongeBob SquarePants at 9 p.m.

June 25: Special sing-along version of Grease at 9 p.m.

July 2: No movie

July 9: All Dogs Go to Heaven at 9 p.m.

July 16: Where the Wild Things Are at 9 p.m.

July 23: NeverEnding Story at 9 p.m.

July 30: The Black Stallion at 9 p.m.

Weather permitting, all movies will be shown on the lawn in front of the George Purefoy Municipal Center and Library, Frisco’s City Hall. Pre-show entertainment will be provided before most showings at 8:30 p.m.. Parking is free.
