Final Trinity River Happy Hour Floats Away Thursday

Rockin’ The River, a popular summer tubing and music series, hosts its final floating happy hour Thursday, August 25, 2011.

Fort Worth’s Panther Pavilion is offering free tubes for the first 600 people who want to float the Trinity River.

Tubers are allowed to bring the following:
• BYOB and Coolers – no glass or Styrofoam allowed
• river shoes
• sunscreen
• beach towel
• lawn chair
• blanket
• water tight container for your keys, phone, etc.
• bring cash or credit card for food. Local vendors Yes Taco, Holy Smokes Barbeque and Ty’s Tasty Treats Snow Cone Stand are on site.

Tubers are not allowed to bring the following:
• glass or Styrofoam containers
• firearms
• fireworks
• weapons
• noise Makers

This event includes loud music and alcohol. Please use discretion in bringing young children. No one will be allowed to board the shuttle bus or enter the river without a Rockin’ the River wristband. Children under 12 years of age will be required to wear a life vest at all times while in the water. Life vests will be available for use at no charge, but must be returned at the end of the event. A parent or guardian is required to sign the waiver at the Sign In Tent for attendees under 16 years of age. Rockin’ the River event parking is NOT ALLOWED on Taylor Street. Lifeguards will be on duty, however all attendees enter the river at your own risk. Pets must remain on a leash at all times.
