Feds: Dorsett's Nephew Ran Cocaine Ring

Federal prosecutors in Pittsburgh say they have broken up a cocaine ring headed by the nephew of Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett.

Authorities say 31-year-old Anthony Dorsett, of Aliquippa, and 12 others have been selling crack and powder cocaine since 2003. An indictment unsealed Tuesday detailed the operation as authorities arrested most of the suspects. They say Anthony Dorsett was arrested Saturday in West Virginia.

The alleged drug trafficking was centered in the Linmar Terrace public housing complex in Aliquippa, about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Tony Dorsett starred at neighboring Hopewell High School before attending Pitt, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1976 before going on to play for the Dallas Cowboys.
