We checked out the Fall soiree at IndieGenius last night to get the scoop on the shopping destination's newest vendors this season, and we're sharing our top obsessions with you.
If you haven't visited IndieGenius yet, we suggest you do so immediately; the unique locale offers dozens of 'micro-boutiques,' serving as a showroom for design talent exclusively from Dallas, and it's the best place in town to stock up on sartorially cool pieces from local taste makers.
Our Favorite Newbie. We loved the interesting jewels by newly added label Smashing Glass. Our picks are the necklaces featuring colorful glass strung on silk cords, and party guests were loving the bangle bracelets, made of brushed metals and the line's signature glass objects. Our Favorite Wild Card. We're already addicted to ReGeared. The quirky home decor label just joined the IndieGenius line up this year, and we love designer Rachel Spires use of recycled bicycle parts, reclaimed wood, and re-purposed industrial goods. The clocks created from brightly lacquered bike gears are among our selections, and we are also coveting the dark red chair built out of a large barrel. Our Favorite Oldie-but-Goodie. We confess; we can't choose just one favorite standby from IndieGenius' collections. So, we narrowed it down to a fab five! We can't get enough of the leather jewelry by HM Originals, and we'll always love the vintage-inspired bags and apparel by Yomono, made from reclaimed materials. Also making the list: furniture by Modern Relics, vintage items from Stash, and amazing clothing and bags by 2Enju.
